What is
Boys Brigade?

The Boys’ Brigade, or BB for short, exists for only one reason, to share the good news of Jesus Christ with Boys and to disciple them to live for Him.

Sure & Stedfast

We think discipling Boys is important because we believe, as Hebrews 6:19 says, that the hope of eternal life that we have in Jesus is the anchor of our soul. This is why our emblem is an anchor.

Holistic

We want to engage the whole of our lives in how we follow Jesus, so we holistic disciple Boys by challenging them spiritually, physically, educationally and socially.

Historical

Boys' Brigade was started in 1883 in Glasgow, Scotland by Sir William Alexander Smith out of a deep concern for young men.

Global

BB exists in over 60 countries and works with over 1,000,000 young people.

Companies

A local BB group is called a company and is a ministry of a local church or other Christian organisation.

for the advancement of Christ's Kingdom among Boys and the promotion of habits of obedience, reverence, discipline, self respect and all that tends towards a true Christian manliness.

Our BB company is run by a group of leaders who are there to serve the Boys at our weekly meetings.
